He told me that he went to a wedding in LA and saw the photographer was filming using a SLICK GoPro stabilizer.
Sounds nothing to you. But to me, this means so much.
To see someone using my product somewhere in the world was my ultimate dream and motivation when I was working on this project.
To see that some users still use SLICK 8 years after I shut down the company gives me goose bump. And also gives me hope for the world to slow down on consumerism and to stop replacing their gadget every year.
This same day, today, an early backer of the project shared with me a PDF guide on how to repair malfunctioning SLICK. I immediately shared it with the (dormant) community.
Since then, I’ve started 3 new companies. SLICK remains the most incredible work experience of my life. I’ve received both the most hate and love from my community & feel like I had 10 lives working on this project.
These days, I’m working on the most challenging project of my life. Fighting with regulations and Big Tobacco. Can’t wait to see where I’m heading to with Outdare Energy
